Client: Amey plc – a subsidiary of Ferrovial S.A, Amey Plc is major player in the provision of services both in the UK and overseas

Role: Commercial Consultant – local government contract mobilisation: Trafford MBC.

Remit: To rapidly become an integral part of the internal Amey team, providing leadership and organisation of disparate parties (internal and external) to enable the contract to operate effectively and efficiently as soon as possible

Key Skills:

  • Detailed understanding of what is needed to mobilise a new contract – disseminating contractual requirements, procurement of key services alongside the definition and implementation of systems and also with supporting and complementary processes
  • Ability to interpret a complex set of contract documents and disseminate in a widely usable format
  • Stakeholder management – gain trust and credibility from regional managers and directors; setting expectations and deliverables; communication with contract team members to understand their perceptions and needs to maximise buy-in at all levels

Achievements:

  • Delivered key processes and procedures for the commercial management of the contract
  • Produced key requirements documents that influenced and communicated with senior business directors on how core systems and processes could be modified to maximise the outcomes for the contract and increase visibility of transactions centrally
